Welcome to ClownUnity
What's Happening ...
This autumn there is an opportunity over three Saturday evenings to gather in Care and Cosiness. These evenings are the antidote to a summer of festivals, fringes and fiery heat.Rather than outputting we will be inputting and filling our own cups with tea and our mouths with cake.26th September

Mission
In a culture obsessed with productivity, polish, and performance, ClownUnity is different and accepts:* creativity as a birthright
* community as a source of strength
* ritual as a way of thriving
* play as a form of connection
* humanity as something to be shared, not perfected
* laughter as medicineThe process of playing and the emergent experience is deeply nourishing and transformative. We’re building a community through shared silliness, care, and presence.
Collaboration - 1.4.27
ClownUnity is a space where clowning becomes a way of meeting ourselves and each other — not as performers trying to impress, but as humans willing to be seen. Here at ClownUnity we are preparing for 1.4.27 a day when traditionally the "idiots" took over.I for one believe we can do better than the current idiots leading us so 1.4.27 is the perfect day to bring transformation and change through play, love and acceptance.ClownUnity is on a mission to get as many folk as possible to do something idiotic on 1.4.27 as an act of empowerment that momentarily makes the world stop, look and listen.A moment of brilliant madness from a place of love that recognises our shared humanity and suffering and says "Enough!"It could be as simple as going to work with your shirt on backwards or as big as an organised mass lie-down in your town centre. If you're curious about any of this and want to chat / collaborate then please email [email protected] or message 07900 827839.

Inclusion
This is an open, inclusive space for everyone — neurodivergent, neurotypical, questioning, curious — anyone who wants to be part of a community built on care, creativity, and the freedom to be.A space where different ways of thinking, feeling, processing, and expressing are welcomed and valued as part of the collective imagination.Neurodivergent people have always been at the heart of creativity — the artists, the visionaries, the rule‑breakers, yet too often, they’ve had to squeeze themselves into shapes that were never made for them. This is a space where people don’t have to mask, shrink, or contort themselves to fit someone else’s idea of “normal.”
I belong.
You belong.
We all belong.
ClownUnity
Is a living vision
Of a loving mission
A mega movement
(Not a bowel one)
But a soft, powerful, kind oneA human constellation
A mass murmuration
Flying freely
(Even if that's heart only)
Evoking a change in energy
FoolishlyClownUnity
Is an invitation
A global declaration
And provocation
Let the clowns take over
Give the world a love makeoverApril 1st 2027
ClownUnity is in session. If you're curious about any of this and want to chat / collaborate then please email [email protected] or message 07900 827839.

About Me - Anna FreeAs a comedy writer, poet, performer, creative facilitator and intuitive guide, I blend humour, heart and mischief to support transformative spaces where people can play, open, explore and be free.As a neurodivergent artist, I champion individual creativity and talent, inviting people to recognise their own brilliance and trust the parts of themselves that want to express.I was born a clown but over time suppressed this part of me. The words "stop being silly Anna" cut deep. With the help of many fabulous clown teachers and a lot of self excavation, I have nurtured my "silly" parts back to life and now embrace them with all my heart.Playing and clowning is my happy place and something I hold sacred.I have an MA in Comedy Writing, am a Fringe Award winner, Brighton Hammer & Tongue Slam Champion (2024), a trained group facilitator, a longlisted poet, and a Human Design expert. Most importantly I am a healer of hearts and a champion of humans.I look forward to playing together.Anna x
